DILLON FITZMORRIS BASKETBALL ALL-STAR
Dillon Fitzmorris, a 6-foot-1 guard from Point Loma High School (PLHS), contributed three points, three rebounds, and one steal in helping the South defeat the North by a score of 109-101 in the San Diego Section’s men’s senior all-star basketball game played at Horizon Christian High School on Friday evening, April 12. “It was exciting to have the opportunity to play in an event of this magnitude,” said Fitzmorris. “It was also a little nerve-wracking at first. But for the most part, it was a lot of fun.” After entering the contest with 10:51 remaining in the first half, Fitzmorris immediately made his impact felt by grabbing a clutch rebound off of the backboard and leading the South squad on a fast break for an easy basket going the other way. “Playing with the best players in the county was a huge privilege and an honor for me to be a part of,” said Fitzmorris.
